Welcome to our rando blog!

Hi! We tell lots of stories on the podcast, but felt like we should share some links and photos that we may forget to post on social media. We're going to start with links to some of the places we visited on our trip to Peru last weekend.

McClure's Orchard

This place was fabulous! You can do a wine tasting or get a flight of their ciders. Krysti is a big fan of their lavender cider. You can't get it in the cans, but they do howlers. Tori liked the Peach Cider. The war of peach and apple on her taste buds was a highlight of the trip.

Boardwalk Cafe

So much good food with a very small price tag. These sandwiches are amazing, y'all. Krysti had the BBQ pulled pork sandwich and Tori had the steak. Ema (Tori's mom) had a chicken club and Chase ordered a pizza. We also got the loaded Irish Nachos. Our server was so sweet and made sure we were well taken care of, even giving us to-go drinks as we were leaving. The atmosphere was super interesting with the a sort of cozy diner meets old building feel.

International Circus Hall of Fame

This is a super cute road-side museum full of circus paraphernalia. The people running the museum were so kind and spent time with us in the actual museum telling us about the different circus companies. This is on the grounds where all the big circuses wintered. It is $5 to get in and they only take cash. If you go, make sure to walk around outside as well. There are markers all over the property that show where the original buildings were.
